The Carpenter's Church Leadership
The Carpenter's Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Kendall has been serving as Lead Pastor of The Carpenter's Church since June, 2009. His desire is to BUILD PEOPLE UP and see them realize their God-given potential. Prior to Carpenter's, he had a successful career as a Personal Trainer.
Kendall grew up in Conyers, GA. He holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree from Toccoa Falls College and a Master of Divinity degree from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Kendall is married to Leaha Hicks and they have two daughters, Kristen and Kaitlyn. Kristen is a graduate of North Greenville University and is married to Chris Leach. Kaitlyn is currently serving in the United States Marine Corps.
Sorina grew up in Bucharest, Romania. She and her husband, Vic, moved to Anderson in 2012. In addition to serving as the church secretary, Sorina is also a realtor with Keller Williams.
Born in Oklahoma and raised in Georgia, Leaha Hicks has been involved in Children’s Ministry since the age of 15. At The Carpenter’s Church KidsZone, her goal is for the children to learn God’s Word, apply and use it and to have lots of fun, too.
Leaha and Kendall have been married since April, 1989. In addition to overseeing the Children's Ministry at Carpenter's, Leaha is a teacher at Barnes Academy in Hartwell, GA.
